Singapore Permanent Resident | Principal Consultant - Drake International

The Role:

We are representing a global luxury interior design firm that has recently established its Asia headquarters in Singapore. Known for crafting award-winning interiors for iconic hotels, resorts, and premium dining venues worldwide, the firm is now looking to appoint a Director of Design to lead its creative and design operations across the region.

This is a pivotal role suited for a seasoned design leader with a strong international portfolio, deep understanding of luxury aesthetics, and a successful track record delivering high-end hospitality and F&B projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overarching creative direction and uphold global design standards across all regional projects.
  • Lead concept development, design storytelling, and execution from pitch to delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with high-profile hospitality clients, operators, and developers.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a team of designers in Singapore and the wider region.
  • Represent the firm in high-stakes design presentations and regional business development efforts.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in high-end interior design, including 5+ years in a senior leadership/project management role.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering luxury hospitality and F&B interiors for international brands.
  • Strong design portfolio with built projects in Asia and/or global gateway cities.
  • Confident client leader with excellent presentation and team leadership skills.
  • Regionally networked; well-versed in Asia's supplier and materials ecosystem.
  • Degree-qualified in Interior Design, Architecture, or similar.
