Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Logistics Assistant. The primary responsibility of this role is to support the daily operations of our logistics department. Basic data analysis skills are required to excel in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of third-party logistics (3PL) providers, ensuring adherence to service level agreements and key performance indicators.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve any issues or inefficiencies in the logistics process.
  • Regularly check for stuck parcels and take necessary actions to ensure timely delivery.
  • Assist in monthly 3PL volume forecasting by analyzing historical data and trends to predict future demand accurately.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather and analyze data related to logistics operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on logistics performance, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to logistics activities, such as performance reports, root cause analysis findings, and forecasting data.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in logistics management and data analysis.
  • Provide general administrative support to the logistics department as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum diploma in logistics and/or supply chain management or relevant field.
  • 1-2 years of logistics experience or relevant background.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and data analysis.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel or other data analysis tools. Knowledge of SOLIDWORKS is an advantage.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
