Senior Compliance Specialist (06-months contract) Job Summary: The Compliance Specialist is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and management of compliance programs. This role involves working closely with control functions and business stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks. The position also supports regional projects and ensures timely execution of the compliance work plan. Responsibilities Provide support on key compliance program and projects such as compliance program development, regulatory requirements assessment, compliance risk assessment & reporting, testing and monitoring, compliance operations, and integration across key compliance topics. Support the establishment of an effective compliance program that aligns with local regulations and internal policies. Collaborate with country compliance leads to assess, document, and monitor compliance risks related to new regulatory requirements. Conduct compliance risk assessments to identify emerging risks and challenges, and report findings to board and senior management. Implement and manage compliance testing plans, performing periodic assessments across business units and enforcing corrective actions. Support operating effectiveness of controls on AML, sanctions, privacy, conflicts of interest, anti‑corruption, ethics, outsourcing. Harmonize processes, manuals, and policies across key compliance topics and develop communication and implementation plans. Requirements A minimum of 5 years of compliance experience in the financial services industry, preferably in Singapore and/or Hong Kong. Understanding of MAS and PDPC regulatory landscape. Strong business, financial, and market acumen. Excellent communication, analytical, problem‑solving, and project management skills. Familiarity with compliance monitoring tools and advanced Microsoft Office proficiency. Strong relationship‑building, negotiation, and decision‑making abilities.
