Job Summary

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing daily specialist outpatient and inpatient care in the Department of Cardiology. Participate in ward rounds and combined department or hospital teaching seminars, including clinico-pathological case conferences.

Represent the Centre at Coroner's request or medico-legal hearings involving patients under the care of the department. Assist with the training and guidance of junior doctors such as Resident Physicians, Medical Officers, Residents, and Senior Residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in daily specialist outpatient and inpatient care in the Department of Cardiology
  • Attend ward rounds and combined department or hospital teaching seminars
  • Represent the Centre at Coroner's request or medico-legal hearings
  • Assist with the training and guidance of junior doctors

Requirements

  • A basic medical and relevant postgraduate qualification recognised by the Singapore Medical Council
  • An accredited Specialist in Cardiology with the Specialist Accreditation Board of Singapore
  • At least 6-8 years' post-housemanship clinical experience
  • Documented proof of Measles (or MMR - Mumps, Measles, and Rubella) vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity; and Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis) vaccination received within the last 10 years
