In-Market Brands Director – APMA – Novartis Singapore Responsible for a consistent, cross‑functional brand strategy shaping and implementation for all assets that have moved from Global to International TA until handover to IMB. Evolves globally created early brand strategies, such as Integrated Product Strategies (IPS), into a competitive, truly cross‑functional launch plan fit‑for‑purpose for core IMI markets and lays the foundation for launch success of Novartis’ next blockbusters. Major Accountabilities Accountable for delivering the TA sales, market share, and profitability to meet or exceed budget targets. Monitors market trends, sales and product performance, conducts regular reviews and takes corrective action as required. Drives the growth of the TA by establishing growth plans for existing products, managing life cycle, launching new products, and establishing strategic partnerships. Defines, drives and oversees the launch planning and execution of upcoming key launches with seamless cross‑functional collaboration. Works with global, regional and country teams to support commercial assessments, new product development, forecasting and lifecycle management. Develops and strengthens strategic relationships with customers (e.g. physicians, key accounts, specialty pharmacies, KOLs and payors) to support medical and commercial activities in alignment with compliance guidelines. Optimises sales force performance and returns on investment, enhancing capabilities and developing innovative commercial strategies. Partners with other TA heads to develop an agile, customer‑led digital and customer solutions strategy. Drives tiered market support to interpret, localise and operationalise launch strategies, acting as primary interface for major IMI markets. Successfully leads the TA team, managing people‑management processes, recruiting, performance management, coaching and talent development. Minimum Requirements Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biomedical or related field. 10+ years of experience with proven P&L and commercial management responsibility within the pharmaceutical industry. Proven sales and marketing management skills with P&L or unit accountability. Strong understanding of country regulatory and market environments. Strategic approach, high learning agility and innovative thinking. Structured, organised, hands‑on and detail‑oriented. Able to engage with senior customers and lead by influence, courageous and speak up. Resilient, results‑oriented, calm under pressure and excellent communicator. People leadership experience.
