About Us:
Chess at Three is a US/New York-based education company that has recently expanded to Singapore. We offer innovative educational programs that combine storytelling, chess, and creative play to foster critical thinking, creativity, and social skills in children aged 6 months to 11 years.
Our Programs:
Chess at Three: Introduces chess to children as young as three through engaging stories and games.
Birchguard Quest: A speech and drama program that develops creativity, collaboration, and leadership skills.
The Opportunity:
We're seeking enthusiastic educators to teach our programs at Dulwich College. You'll work with small groups of children aged 3-10, using our award-winning curriculum. While chess experience is helpful, it's not required - we'll provide comprehensive training and pair you with an experienced tutor.
Requirements:
Passion for education and storytelling
Experience in social work, education, or a related field
Fun, animated, and great with children
Strong organizational and communication skills
Bachelor's degree preferred
Thorough background check required
$52.50/hr
Part Time Employee
Schedule:
Season 2 (required commitment): 18 November - 22 February 2025
Monday - Friday
3:45 - 4:45
2 days chess, 3 days Birchguard quest (D&D style roleplaying game)
Tutors can select preferred teaching days or curriculum per week, priority will be given to candidates who can commit to more days per week.
