Analyst - Debt Capital Markets

Overview
The DCM Team is looking for an experienced DCM Analyst to join the existing team in Singapore. The candidate will play an important role in adding value to new and existing client relationships, participating in origination, structuring and execution across a wide range of debt capital market transactions.

Qualifications
2-3 years of relevant experience in a DCM department supporting senior originators, or equivalent IB experience
Experience in Asian debt capital markets, ideally covering Southeast Asia and India
Product knowledge: IG & HY bonds, USD bonds (SEC-registered, 144A, Reg S, Formosa), EUR & GBP bonds, Private Placements (all currencies), Project Bonds, Sustainable Bonds
Track record of working with team members regionally and globally to identify capital market trends and addressing clients’ needs
Strong communication skills and ability to generate pitch material that is clear, structured, compelling, and comprehensive in addressing clients’ needs
Relevant bachelor’s degree and/or a professional financial qualification

Department Description
Societe Generale (SG)’s Debt Capital Markets group has responsibility for advising issuers (corporates, financial institutions and public-sector entities) on their issuance strategy in the primary debt capital markets and executing the related transactions. We handle projects that help clients at major milestones and we continuously seek to connect issuers and investors through our global fixed income platform. Our DCM team within Singapore is an active arranger of international bonds for clients across South East Asia and India. We work with corporations, financial institutions, financial sponsors and governments across a range of asset classes. From advising and executing Senior or Subordinated bonds to Project Bonds. Within the Financial Sector we are also one of the leading arrangers across the Capital structure (Covered, Senior, Subordinated bonds). ESG leadership remains key and our team works closely with clients to advise on the optimal approach and structure for Sustainable Bonds, where applicable. We are currently looking for an Analyst to join our Debt Capital Markets team in Singapore to be a key member of all our client origination, structuring and execution activities. You will be joining a dynamic and ambitious team that is focused on delivering tailored solutions for clients.
