Job Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on Technician to assist engineers with procedures, builds and process improvements in a manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Engineers to develop and refine sub-assembly and final assembly procedures.
Perform sub-assembly builds and final system integrations according to established work instructions.
Prepare and stage all necessary materials and components for assembly operations.
Identify and coordinate the availability of tools and fixtures required for assembly tasks.
Follow work instructions (WI), Operational Method Sheet (OMS) and safety protocols diligently.
Generate and update work instructions (WI) as processes evolve.
Participate in process reviews and suggest improvements to enhance quality, efficiency and safety.
Diagnose and resolve issues encountered during the assembly process, escalating as needed.
Maintain and update monitoring checklists, including calibration of tools and condition checks for fixtures.
Job Requirements:
Able to understand manufacturing process and documented procedures.
Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, schematics and work instructions.
Hands-on experience.
Experience with troubleshooting and root cause analysis in a manufacturing context.
Able to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
Soft skill knowledge in MS office.
Flexibility to support multiple assembly lines or product variants as needed.
Background in Electrical & Electronics (E&E) manufacturing.
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and documentation procedures.
Eligible and willing to travel to the United States for training assignments.
Immediate availability for onboarding is preferred.
Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident (with US visa is an advantage) preferred.
