Residential Children's Support Specialist

Job Title
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Care Worker to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and supportive environment for children with challenging behaviors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a nurturing environment for children.
- Respond calmly and effectively to children who exhibit difficult behaviors.
- Ensure the physical and mental well-being of children in care.
- Create a safe and positive living environment, establish rules for behavior, and provide one-on-one teaching and coaching on daily living skills.
- Monitor each resident's needs and progress.
- Help children develop secure attachment bonds with appropriate adults.
- Provide close supervision and support to children.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
Requirements:
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Able to work in an energetic environment with children.
- Experience working with children is an advantage.
- Persistent and active learner.
- Non-judgmental and empathetic attitude.
