What the role is

You manage safety programmes and initiatives within an Army base to enhance workplace safety and prevent incidents.

What you will be working on

  • Direct and monitor safety initiatives
  • Conduct inspections and audits
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses
  • Organise safety workshops and seminars
  • Identify and assess safety hazards
  • Strengthen safety systems
  • Conduct trend analysis and track safety violations
  • Monitor maintenance practices and update safety committee
  • Follow up on safety breaches and document best practices
    Challenge(s)
  • Managing high-volume maintenance activities
  • Travelling to various camps

What we are looking for

  • Experience in safety
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Safety assessment expertise
  • Technical knowledge in workshop operations environments, armoured track vehicles
