S/he will join an existing Science of Learning (SOL) research project, "Teacher-Child Neural Scaffolding for Executive Function & School Readiness", funded by the Ministry of Education and led by PI Professor Victoria Leong at NTU. This project aims to identify objective neural hallmarks of successful teacher-child interaction and pedagogical behaviour that predict children's emerging executive function neurocircuitry and school readiness in both typically developing children and children with neurodevelopmental risk factors.**Key Responsibilities**The successful candidate will conduct cutting-edge social neuroscience research with children and teachers (involving dyadic-EEG acquisition and analysis), including children with (or at risk for) Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).This research will be conducted both within a laboratory setting and at preschools.
