Roles & Responsibilities Job Description & Requirements The BIM Modeller supports design drawings production department in 2D and 3D for BIM submission, drawings coordination between Architectural / Structural / Mechanical trades in 2D and 3D for BIM submission. The incumbent is to train, QC and provide technical guidance to junior draftsman / junior modeller when required. JOB DESCRIPTION • To produce quality output of shop drawings with minimal supervision • Accountable for the timely submission of shop drawing in 2D and 3D for BIM submission• Ensure content’s accuracy and fluent presentation in shop drawings• To ensure strict compliance of system on shop drawings• To handle multiple project simultaneous• To raise issue with superior on deviation from original design intent• To sketch, build and generate schematic with in-house software• To check and coordinate with Architectural / Structural / Mechanical service in 2D and 3D for BIM submission• Maintain smooth communication to the supervisor and to all co-workers JOB REQUIREMENTS · Candidate must possess either a Degree / Diploma / Technical certificate of equivalent in Architecture / Mechanical / Civil or Building or equivalent. · A minimum of 2 years of working experience in drafting for Architectural / Structural / Plumbing / Mechanical Trades is required. · Knowledge of Auto-cad and Revit 3D modelling is required.
