Senior Radiographer (Mammo) Job Description

This position requires a skilled and experienced radiographer to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging examinations, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and the ability to work independently, maintaining a clean and tidy examination room while providing excellent patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Radiological Examinations
    • Perform mammography and X-ray examinations using various modalities, selecting and executing proper radiographic techniques for individual patients based on their clinical needs.
  • Patient Care
    • Ensure accurate patient identification and maintain a clean and tidy examination room.
    • Provide excellent patient care and support, adhering to professional and departmental guidelines.
  • Maintenance and Operation
    • Maintain and operate radiological equipment, ensuring readiness and proper functioning.

Requirements:

  • Education
    • Minimum diploma/degree in Diagnostic Imaging, Diagnostic Radiography or relevant field.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Ability to perform X-ray, mammography, and ultrasound scans is essential.
    • Registration with National Environmental Agency (NEA) as a radiation worker and Singapore Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC) are mandatory.
  • Experience
    • More than 2 years of experience is preferred, with potential for senior position advancement.
