Aligned with this vision, we are seeking a Curriculum Development Director, English, to spearhead the creation of innovative academic products that enhance student outcomes and foster widespread adoption in schools. We are in search of highly skilled professionals who grasp the essence of delivering quality education and are enthusiastic about reshaping educational institutions.As the Curriculum Development Director, English, your primary responsibilities will include developing cutting-edge academic products that elevate English language proficiency standards and stand out in the market. You will be tasked with incorporating global research and best practices in language learning, overseeing the English team, managing the entire English product portfolio, and ensuring the successful development and delivery of these products. Your role will also entail crafting products that visibly enhance English proficiency among students, collaborating with various stakeholders to uphold product quality standards, and working closely with management to achieve revenue targets.Key Responsibilities:- Develop new and innovative academic products to enhance English language proficiency- Incorporate global research and best practices in language learning- Lead the English team and oversee the development and delivery of the English product portfolio- Create products that demonstrably improve English proficiency among students- Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain product quality and support revenue targetsSpecific Responsibilities:- Head the English language academics team- Drive the evolution of ELGA as a leading English teaching methodology- Develop next-generation products tailored for the Indian market across various school segments- Manage the portfolio, planning, production, and editorial aspects to uphold product excellence- Conduct competitor analysis, surveys, and devise strategies for product enhancement- Design impactful digital assets and assessments- Work with the academic team, authors, and freelancers to shape editorial strategy and content quality- Enhance production and delivery processes, ensuring timely product releases- Stay abreast of market trends and create forward-thinking products- Optimize in-house processes and resources for efficiency- Design quality training programs for educators and school leaders- Mentor and cultivate a team of editors and content creators- Lead teacher training initiatives for ELGA and other English products- Assess student learning progress and refine products to align with company objectivesIdeal Experience Profile:- 15+ years of experience in the K-12 education industry- Strong academic background, preferably from a top-tier college/university in India or abroad- Expertise in teaching English language- Proven track record in developing high-efficacy products- Experience in forming external partnerships and delivering effective training programs- Proficiency in managing print and digital product development- Budget management skills and project ROI delivery expertise- Familiarity with technology solutions in an educational context,
