Brief Call : Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you
Interviews : The average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position. During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities
Case study : Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description
ABOUT THE JOB
Maintain and enhance AS400-based applications and systems
Support and manage the technical aspects of migration from AS400 to Silverlake platform
Write and optimize RPG programs (RPG III/IV, RPGLE, Free format) and CL programs
Collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure a smooth transition during system migrations
Troubleshoot and resolve application performance issues and user-reported bugs
Develop documentation and conduct training sessions on AS400 and Silverlake environments
Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with development best practices
Support integration between AS400 legacy systems and modern technologies
ABOUT YOU
Academic background: Engineering school or IT-related degree
Minimum 5 years' experience with AS400 systems development and maintenance
Experience with RPG programming (RPG III/IV, ILE, Free)
Understanding of Silverlake architecture and experience in migration projects from AS400 to Silverlake
Knowledge of CL, DB2/400 and IFS file structures
Familiarity with software development lifecycle and version control tools
Fluent English
You are detail-oriented, structured, and able to work autonomously while being a team player
