Overview
Laboratory Value Stream Supervisor (Afternoon & Night Shifts rotating i.e. 1pm to 10pm & 10pm to 7am) at Danaher Life Sciences. This on-site role is located in Singapore and reports to the Value Stream Leader as part of the Manufacturing & Operations team.
Responsibilities
Oversee and organize the daily workflow and operations of direct reports in the production area for the assigned value stream and shift.
Oversee direct reports including hiring, training, personal development, performance management, career discussions and discipline.
Ensure customer orders are processed safely, correctly and on time and efficiently.
Collaborate with the Value Stream Leader in interpreting QC results and follow up when failures warrant further investigation.
Assist in ensuring all work instructions pertaining to processes and safety guidelines are followed and comply with rules and guidance applicable to the value stream, ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485.
Essential Requirements
Minimum Bachelor's degree in a science-related field or equivalent by relevant experience.
Must be comfortable working with chemicals and follow proper safety and handling instructions.
Preferred/Additional Experience
Basic knowledge in manufacturing practices.
Previous leadership experience (Preferred).
Experience in applying lean tools such as 5S, Standard Work, Visual/Daily Management, Problem Solving (Preferred).
About the Role
The Value Stream Supervisor is responsible for executing the production plan with a strong emphasis on safety, efficiency, and productivity. This role ensures that daily operations within the assigned value stream run smoothly and that team members are supported and aligned with operational goals. This position reports to the Value Stream Leader and is part of the Manufacturing & Operations team located in Singapore and will be an on-site role.
