Tender Coordinator

Drive business success by leveraging your expertise in tender management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and evaluate tender documents to ensure scope, risks, and opportunities are clearly defined.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and technical submissions that meet client requirements.
  • Coordinate with main contractors and clients to ensure timely delivery of submissions.
  • Work closely with engineering and procurement teams to gather commercial inputs for tenders.
  • Liaise with suppliers for quotations and technical data to support tender preparation.
  • Collaborate with finance for pricing strategies and risk assessments.
  • Support negotiations with contractors/clients to protect the company's interests.
  • Provide handover to the project execution team upon contract award.
  • Track upcoming tenders and opportunities to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
  • Experience: Minimum 5-7 years in tendering/estimating within electrical contracting/subcontracting is necessary.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction practices, and industry standards is essential.
  • Proficiency in tendering software, MS Office, and cost estimation tools is required.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills are necessary.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is crucial.
