Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a dynamic and proactive individual to join us as a Shipping Agent Executive. The ideal candidate will lead and manage the operational aspects of Shipping Agency activities and take full ownership of responsibilities. As a key member of the team, you should foster a sense of belonging and teamwork while demonstrating leadership by example.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage port operations for ship calling activities
  • Coordinate with relevant authorities and vendors for crew change operations
  • Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with customers and vendors
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills and manage vessels independently
  • Ensure proper documentation practices, including generating invoices and FDA
  • Adapt to customer expectations and provide versatile solutions
  • Evaluate and assess both existing and potential new vendors
  • Regularly update and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of general working experience, or a Degree/ Diploma in Maritime or related field
  • Applicant without experience is welcome to apply, training will be provided
  • Include a recent photo and indicate your expected salary in your application
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively in a Chinese client-speaking environment
  • A strong team player with a positive working attitude
  • Able to respond during odd hours (night & weekend)
  • Highly responsible with a strong sense of ownership
