Job Title: Lead Baker - Full Time Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Baker to lead our production team in creating high-quality bakery products. If you have a passion for baking and excellent leadership skills, this could be the perfect role for you.

  • This is a full-time opportunity with regular working hours and the possibility of overtime during busy periods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Planning: Plan and organize the baking schedule to ensure timely production and minimize downtime.
  • Cooking and Quality Control: Prepare ingredients for baking pastries, set up and clean baking equipment, tools, and workstations for daily production, and ensure that baked goods are produced in sufficient quantities based on demand.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate with other team members to meet deadlines, especially during busy periods.
  • Safety and Hygiene: Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, following health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in the baking or food production industry.
  • Skillset: Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, able to work rotating shifts, and a diploma/certificate in a bakery-related field.
