Role Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. You will be instrumental in managing the financial and contractual aspects of our construction and renovation projects, ensuring optimal cost control, timely delivery, and the highest standards of quality and compliance. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions for landed residential and smart home renovation projects. Evaluate and negotiate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure value-for-money procurement. Conduct on-site measurements and valuations to monitor work progress and validate contractor claims. Manage all contractual documentation including progress claims, variation orders, interim payments, and final accounts. Track project expenditures and perform budget forecasting to maintain financial control. Assist in contract administration throughout pre- and post-contract phases, including the preparation of tender and bid documents. Collaborate with internal teams, architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure cost-efficient solutions and smooth project execution. Perform regular site inspections to ensure quality of work, compliance with specifications, and adherence to timelines. Provide cost planning and value engineering input during both design and construction stages. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or a related field. Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in the construction or renovation industry, preferably with exposure to residential and/or commercial projects. Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and cost control techniques. Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, etc.). Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
