Overview What the role is: Implement the sector digital strategy to expand SSAs’ capacity and improve service delivery through partnerships and resource management. What you will be working on Understand the sector’s ambitions, strengths, needs, limitations and challenges Provide guidance and support for implementation projects. Give timely advice, facilitate overcoming obstacles and bridging gaps Lead conversations with vendors and partners at the project level Plan, organize and oversee the tactical approach in implementing the sector digital strategy Keep abreast of the sector wide plans that impact the digital strategy and transformation initiatives. Lead the team in pivoting as needed. Manage the communications and partnership matters for the team Monitor progress of the projects, collect and sense-make data for reporting and presentations Support team’s professional development through coaching, training and other learning opportunities Watch over the budget utilization for the projects What we are looking for Personal Competencies: Serving with Heart, Commitment and Purpose Working As One Public Service Social Service Sector Knowledge Data Management & Analysis Contract Development & Management Monitoring & Impact Evaluation Stewarding Systems for Today and Tomorrow (Applicable to those in Supervisory and Leadership positions) Caring for, Developing and Inspiring Staff (Applicable to those in Supervisory and Leadership positions) Skills Required: Knowledge of the Sector and digital transformation Good interpersonal skills which enables effective negotiation and facilitation; and change management Creative problem-solving abilities, critical/analytical thinking, systems thinking and design thinking Bold and unafraid to experiment Ability to engage at leadership level Ability to handle staff welfare and professional growth; and bond the team Ability to manage partnerships and carry out strategic workplans to meet outcomes Experience & Special Certification(s): Experience: At least 11-15 years’ work experience, preferably in a tech or innovation related role with team leadership experience. Special Certification: Project Management; Agile methodology; AI-related About National Council of Social Service NCSS is the umbrella body for over 500 member social service agencies in Singapore.
