Course Structure:
BASIC – 24 hours
Types of fabric, glue and tools.
Learn to cut Chusen fabric.
Basic Round and Pointed Petals with Boards and Ochirin.
INTERMEDIATE – 24 hours
TOPICS:
Healing Through Art.
What is Chirimen fabric?
Working with Chirimen fabric.
Colour Matching.
Boards and Ochirin for Practice.
Making Camellia Comb.
Setting up your Business.
Assessment: 3 hours
ADVANCED – 30 hours
TOPICS:
Creativity and Adaptation.
Boards and Ochirin for Practice.
Making Bellflower Black Long Comb.
Facilitate A Workshop Professionally.
Making Pendant (Double Pointed Petal).
Traditional Glue Kneading.
Assessment: 3 hours
**Option to Top-Up to learn onsite with Ms. Tomoko Ota in Japan, receive a graduation certificate from her, part of a 7-day Japanese Immersive Experience in Japan.
Note:
Each level is stand-alone and you can start teaching after completing Basic Level.
*Optional to attend the
last 3 lessons in Japan Additional amount to be topped up for students opting to attend the last 3 lessons in Japan which is part of a 7-day learning journey.
The fee includes accommodation, 2 meals per day, immersive experiences, and sightseeing. Subject to changes depending on prevailing accommodation rates, excluding air ticket fare.
Prospects Upon Course Completion:
Conduct Tsumamizaiku workshops at our studios, carnival booths, corporate clients, schools, and organisations’ venues.
Using Palette Japan material, tools, marketing materials, and workshop facilitation guidelines.
Create your own designs and sell your finished products to customers.
