We are seeking a Science Laboratory Technician to provide technical support to the Science Department. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting teachers with practical lessons, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring a safe and efficient environment for students to explore and enjoy science. Key Responsibilities Maintain general cleanliness and upkeep of the science laboratories. Prepare teaching resources (including tools/equipment/materials/apparatus and any learning or training kits) in collaboration with teachers. Manage inventory to maintain sufficient stock and procure new equipment/materials/components when necessary while tracking the budget and resources utilisation in the Science Laboratories Demonstrate competence in use of equipment/machines as well as simple troubleshooting. Conduct specific experiments as per HOD's instructions. Conduct termly store stock take for scientific equipment/material/apparatus. Track faulty equipment/materials that need to be replaced. Maintain a record of the loaning out of equipment/materials/apparatus to teachers. Update database of science resources which include diagrams and pictures. Any other duties assigned by HOD and school leaders. Qualifications & Skills Must have at least 2 years of working experience as a Science Laboratory Technician in a primary school setting.
