As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of precision medicine by capturing both genetic and cellular data from a single blood draw, bringing us closer to our mission of overcoming cancer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop novel algorithms and statistical models as required by the company.
  • Built production-level bioinformatics pipelines using docker and AWS step functions.
  • Designed databases to compile vast amounts of genomic and diagnostics information.
  • Evaluate research and clinical needs, leading the scoping out of project parameters.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead process and turnaround improvements.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree, Master's degree or PhD in Bioinformatics/Computational Biology/Computer Science or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in NGS data analysis, experienced in developing bioinformatics algorithms or software independently.
  • Strong proficiency in programming (Python, R, Unix shell scripts).
  • A good understanding of biology, algorithms, and statistics.
  • Strong self-motivation with an inquisitive mind and a keen interest in creating solutions for real-time healthcare problems.
