Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Engineering Manager to lead a team of talented engineers in delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for both the technical and people management aspects of your team — driving execution, ensuring high standards, and fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers; support their growth and career development through coaching, feedback, and performance reviews. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver high-impact features and improvements. Drive project planning, execution, and delivery to meet business goals, balancing speed and quality. Foster an engineering culture focused on quality, technical excellence, reliability, and innovation. Remove obstacles, manage risks, and resolve dependencies to ensure timely delivery. Contribute to architectural decisions and lead technical discussions and design reviews. Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, tools, and systems. Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team and across the organization. Qualifications Required: 5+ years of engineering experience with 2+ years in a leadership or management role. Strong technical background in (e.g., web development, distributed systems, cloud services, etc.), with hands-on experience in (languages, frameworks, or technologies relevant to your stack). Proven ability to manage and deliver complex engineering projects. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience mentoring engineers and helping them grow professionally. Preferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or a related field. Experience in agile development methodologies. Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Previous experience working in a fast-paced startup or high-growth environment.
