Overview
An audio engineer is required to clean and enhance two short recordings, each under two minutes in length, captured from a security camera. The task involves reducing background noise such as static and dog barking, while amplifying and clarifying any human sounds present in the files. This is a small-scale, personal project that can be completed remotely within a few hours, making it ideal for an engineer with experience in audio restoration and noise reduction.
Responsibilities
Process two short audio files (each under two minutes).
Remove or reduce dog barking and static noise.
Amplify and clarify any human voices or noises in the recordings.
Deliver clean, polished audio files in standard formats such as WAV or MP3.
Ensure that enhanced audio is natural and intelligible without distortion.
Requirements
Proven experience in audio editing, engineering, or sound restoration.
Proficiency with tools such as Audition, Audacity, iZotope RX, or similar software.
Strong understanding of noise reduction, sound cleanup, and audio enhancement techniques.
Ability to isolate and improve low-quality recordings from non-professional equipment.
Attention to detail to achieve clarity without compromising audio integrity.
Capacity to deliver completed files quickly, ideally within a few hours.
Comfortable working remotely with clear communication.
