The opportunity: Our Dispute Resolution practice represents clients in high-stakes business disputes across a wide range of industries. We leverage deep legal expertise, global reach and strategic insights to help clients navigate complex legal challenges, protect business interests, and achieve favorable outcomes through court proceedings and alternative dispute resolution methods. As an Associate, you will have excellent judgment and analytical skills, and broad subject-matter experience across commercial litigation, international arbitration, and regulatory issues. You’ll be highly organized, self-motivated, and a team player with a strong professional presence and client focus. We’ll support you, give you responsibility and welcome you as an integral member of our diverse, international team from day one. We foster a collegial working environment where partners are friendly and accessible, and colleagues are supportive and open to questions.

• Represent leading technology clients on high-stakes litigation and regulatory disputes across the APAC region.
• Develop litigation strategy and draft substantive pleadings for matters throughout the globe – ranging from data protection, defamation, IP infringement, contract and other disputes – and oversee on-the-ground counsel to implement strategy.
• Advise clients on risk assessments associated with newly developed products, policies, and business structures, as well as with proposed legislation and regulations across the world.
• Draft submissions and other documents for international matters.
• Coordinate experts and local counsel engagements.

• 2-5 years of commercial litigation/arbitration experience
• Experience with a top domestic or international law firm
• Admission: SG or US
• US law degree and bar qualification preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to synthesize legal concepts and strategy into easy-to-digest client advice, including for non-legal business stakeholders
• Excellent drafting skills with attention to accuracy of facts and persuasiveness
