About Our Client
Our client is an emerging innovator in the scientific automation space, combining advanced software engineering, robotics, and data systems to transform how labs operate. Job Description
Design and implement backend systems using Python/Django to control and coordinate automated lab workflows.
Build real-time orchestration engines and contribute to compiler logic for translating scientific protocols into machine-level actions.
Interface with hardware and develop drivers to integrate various lab instruments and devices.
Develop frontend tools using React/TypeScript for real-time control and monitoring of automated systems.
Create closed-loop systems that adapt protocols based on experiment data and environmental conditions.
The Successful Applicant
You have at least 5 years of software development experience and are comfortable working across the stack.
Proficiency in Python and React is required, along with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative team.
Experience in automation, robotics, or interfacing with physical systems is a plus, as is a genuine interest in solving real-world problems through technology.
