Equipment Optimization Specialist
We are seeking an experienced equipment engineer to join our team as an Equipment Optimization Specialist. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Diffusion (300mm Fab) and knowledge of statistical analysis tools like SPC, DOE, FDC, ECMS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze data to optimize equipment performance and robustness.
- Develop and implement Preventive Maintenance plans to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and productivity.
- Liaise with vendors to resolve equipment issues and enhance performance.
- Collaborate with process and manufacturing engineers to ensure seamless execution of tasks.
- Manage spare parts and consumables stock levels to support equipment maintenance.
- Lead new equipment start-ups from facilities hookup to acceptance for production.
- Implement equipment improvement projects to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and increase reliability.
- Establish financial budgets for equipment expenditures and track spending.
- Set targets, goals, and projects to minimize wafer scrap, optimize equipment capability, and maximize utilization.
- Provide training on troubleshooting skills, equipment knowledge, decision-making, and risk assessment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ph.D., M.Sc., or degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or Physics.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably as an EPI expert.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse cultures.
