Headquartered in Myanmar with a growing presence in Singapore, the Group continues to expand its regional footprint through organic growth and strategic acquisitions. The Singapore portfolio includes a mix of legacy and newly acquired entities, including a bakery business and several niche ventures. As part of its ongoing transformation and integration agenda, the Group now seeks a Finance Director to oversee all financial operations across Singapore and Myanmar, serving as the key interface between both markets. The Position Based in Singapore and reporting to the CEO, the Finance Director will oversee necessary financial, compliance, and governance functions across the Group’s operations in both countries. The role requires providing strategic and operational leadership to ensure consistent financial reporting, regulatory alignment, and process efficiency across multiple business units including retail, distribution, manufacturing, and newly acquired entities. The Finance Director will serve as the key financial bridge between Singapore and Myanmar, leading M&A and due diligence activities, managing import/export and offshore documentation, and driving the standardization of systems and controls across both markets. Working closely with senior management, the individual will support business planning, capital allocation, and performance management, ensuring financial integrity, strategic alignment, and long-term value creation for the Group. The Person The ideal candidate will be a seasoned finance professional with 15–20 years of progressive experience overseeing regional or multi-entity operations within diversified, consumer, or distribution-led environments. They should possess a solid foundation in financial reporting, M&A, due diligence, and cross-border structuring, with proven ability to navigate both developed and emerging market conditions while maintaining strong governance and compliance standards. Strategic yet hands-on, the individual must demonstrate sound commercial judgment, strong leadership, and effective stakeholder management skills. Given the cross-border nature of the role, candidates who are currently based in Singapore and have a deep understanding of Myanmar’s business landscape will be well suited. A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required, with professional certification (CPA/CA) or an MBA considered an advantage. #J-18808-Ljbffr
