Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Nurse to join our team. As a Veterinary Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to veterinarians in an established and stable veterinary hospital/clinic.
- Evaluate and facilitate the admission process for new pets/animals, ensuring a seamless experience for clients and patients.
- Support anaesthesia monitoring and recovery during emergency situations, prioritizing the safety and well-being of both humans and animals.
- Collaborate with emergency veterinarians to provide expert care and treatment to hospitalized animals, demonstrating compassion and technical expertise at critical moments.
- Monitor critical animals closely, utilizing strong observational skills and knowledge of animal behavior.
- Assist with radiographic imaging to aid diagnosis and treatment, working efficiently and accurately.
- Safely restrain animals during exams and treatments, minimizing stress and risk for all parties involved.
- Prepare patients for surgeries and manage post-operative care, including bandaging and recovery, to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Communicate effectively and empathetically with clients regarding treatment and care, building trust and rapport.
Requirements:
- Candidate with Diploma/Degree in Veterinary Nursing or Animal Care is welcome to apply.
- Entry-level candidates welcome; training will be provided to ensure success in this rewarding role.
