Job Summary:
As a sales associate, you will be the face of our company. You will highlight our brand and image while contributing to building our reputation as a company that values its customers and their opinions. You will be responsible for assisting customers and helping them recognize the need for our products and services. Must be capable of learning about what we sell and articulate our purpose in an educational, insightful, and professional manner. A positive and outgoing nature that enjoys serving others and making a positive impact to the organization is essential.
Duties and Responsibilities:
CUSTOMER SERVICE
Proactively engage with customers and make a connection.
Ask questions and listen to customer needs.
Inform customers about merchandise, upcoming events, promotions, mobile offers, STAR card.
Provide premier customer service.
Build positive, inclusive, and respectful relationships, taking accountability for actions and outcomes.
ORGANIZATION
Maintain store appearance.
SALES
Cross-sell products and know the store layout.
Make suggestions based on customer needs, including latest trends and current promotions.
Upsell products.
Learn product features and stay updated with trends, leveraging company tools and technology.
Use Point-of-Sales system, process transactions, and handle cash accurately.
Complete paperwork, reports, and reconciliation.
INVENTORY
Manage merchandise, ensure proper check-in and ticketing, participate in inventories.
DEPENDABILITY
Adhere to work schedules and follow through on assignments.
OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
Qualifications:
Basic product knowledge.
Retail experience preferred but not required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Basic math skills.
Ability to multi-task, work as part of a team, and take initiative.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Constant movement, talking, hearing, reaching, standing for extended periods. May involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders. Ability to lift 25-50 lbs. Indoor and outdoor work depending on location.
Additional Skills:
Enthusiastic, friendly, energetic, with a desire to provide outstanding service.
Work Hours:
Variety of hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Documents:
Valid Passport with SOFA stamp
Command Sponsorship or Family Entry Approval Letter
Proof of SSN, if applicable
Permanent Duty Orders, if applicable
Copy of DD214 for prior military service members
