Manager - Tendering - Logistics - APAC

Description Regional Talent Acquisition APAC | In search for Rockstars | Tech | SaaS | Supply Chain Solutions This position is responsible for developing and overseeing DP World’s tendering and RFQ/RFP management activities for APAC region. This will include developing, negotiating, and pitching tenders. The candidate will work closely with various stakeholders and SMEs to develop proposals that address our customers’ needed and bring forth the best solutions we have to offer to enhance the chances of securing tenders. Key Accountabilities Develop bid strategies and tender frameworks and responsible for APAC tenders Lead and manage APAC tenders and technical proposals in response to RFIs / RFPs / RFQs covering full suite of Logistics solutions from Air, Ocean and Contract Logistics by adhering to Tender Management process Analyse tender specifications and liaise with countries mainly in the APAC region for accurate and timely responses Coordinate with global/ regional/ country stakeholders and country subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop technical proposals accurately, presenting the best solutions of what DP World can offer Recommend optimal solutions for clients based on DP World’s service offerings Oversee all aspects of pre contract by ensuring the responses are properly managed Manage tender bidding records, data and information Support other ad-hoc assignment, pricing analysis and projects Make sure smooth transition to implementation and operation upon business award Provide post-bid analysis for Commercial team, Procurement team and Management review Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Bachelor Degree in Logistics / Business Management or equivalent At least 5 years of relevant experience in pricing/tendering in Freight Forwarding or Logistics industry Advanced in Microsoft Office, especially MS-Excel skills Ability to manage bid & pricing tools efficiently, e.g. Ariba, Jagger, Coupa, Xenata, etc. Ability to multitask and adapt to dynamic environment Excellent analytical, planning and numeric skills Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) DP World is committed to the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO).
