The Hub Manager will be responsible for all aspects of facility operations, including staff management, financial performance, customer service, and facility maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Staff Management:
Provide strong leadership and guidance to all staff members in areas encompassing the Hub’s operations, finance and HR and sales and marketing.
Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure high levels of performance and customer service.
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee satisfaction.
Operations Management:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the facility, including scheduling, court rentals, and programming.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimise efficiency and productivity.
Monitor facility usage and make adjustments as necessary to meet customer demand.
Customer Service:
Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service.
Ensure the customer service team addresses customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a prompt and professional manner.
Implement strategies to enhance the overall customer experience and increase customer satisfaction and retention.
Financial Management:
Develop and manage the facility budget, including revenue projections and expense control.
Monitor financial performance against budget and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability.
Identify opportunities for revenue growth through programming, events, and other initiatives.
Marketing and Promotion:
Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
Collaborate with marketing team to create promotional materials, advertising campaigns, and social media content.
Represent the facility at community events, tournaments, and other promotional opportunities.
Programs Development:
Design, implement and manage programs to support the Hub’s mission to nurture and develop talent in the badminton sport.
Collaborate with sponsors, community networks, schools, academies, associations and players to create engaging and impactful sport experiences.
Facility Maintenance and Safety:
Ensure that the facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times.
Oversee maintenance and repairs of equipment, courts, and other facilities as needed.
Implement safety protocols and emergency procedures to ensure the well-being of staff and customers.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, or related field (preferred).
Proven experience in facility management, preferably in the sports or recreation industry.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Solid understanding of financial management principles and budgeting.
Knowledge of badminton rules, equipment, and programming (preferred).
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
