About The Team The team focuses on building a globally distributed, PCI DSS compliant platform using GCP and Kubernetes, while guiding and upskilling internal teams using best practices for building, deployment and scaling applications in the cloud. Security is at the core of our practices and automation in this Financial Service environment. What You'll Do As a DevOps engineer, lead the design of our DevOps strategy and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and evolve cloud infrastructure optimized for performance, scalability and security to support growth. Own Data and AI infrastructure across multiple countries. Develop observability and detection capabilities to reduce time to detect problems and increase stability without sacrificing agility or security. Build consensus among DevOps Engineers across geographies on tools and practices, evolving them into agreed standards. This role is based in Singapore or Shanghai. Responsibilities Commit to delivering exceptional, risk-free, fully tested solutions in all platforms you build. Design platforms that resolve fast-paced, ever-changing success measures. Be a team player in a collaborative, innovative, customer-first environment. Be naturally curious to better understand customer needs. Think deeply and brainstorm with colleagues to derive the best solutions. Minimum Qualifications Experience designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems. Declarative automation of cloud-based IaaS/PaaS deployments using modern GitOps/DevOps techniques. Strong focus on operational metrics (MTTD/MTTR) and continuous improvement. Passion for automation and repeatable processes. Deep exposure to public cloud (GCP, AWS or Azure), Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with a mainstream programming language (Java, Go, Python or Rust). Broad experience with modern CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, Argo, etc.). Infrastructure-as-code mindset (Terraform preferred). Data streaming tools such as Debezium, Kafka, Flink or Pinot. Solid understanding of OS, platform and network security practices.
