The Opportunity Are you a results‐oriented professional with a passion for technology and a talent for business development? We are seeking a dynamic Technical Sales and Marketing Executive to drive the growth of our electro‐optic components and solutions portfolio. This is a hybrid position that requires a unique blend of technical expertise and business savvy , with a primary focus on business development and marketing. You will manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, while also developing marketing strategies to enhance our brand presence. Your Mission Spearhead Business Development: Proactively research and identify new business opportunities to build a robust sales pipeline. Cultivate Client Relationships: Act as the main technical contact for clients, understanding their application needs to build lasting, trusted relationships. Provide Technical Consultation: Conduct compelling product demonstrations and technical presentations on our electro‐optic components (e.g., lenses, lasers, sensors). Manage the Sales Process: Prepare and deliver persuasive quotations, negotiate contracts, and strive to exceed sales targets. Collaborate for Innovation: Work closely with our internal engineering and management teams, providing crucial customer feedback to ensure our solutions meet market demands. Shape Our Brand (30% Marketing Focus)Analyze the Market: Conduct research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape in the electro-optics industry. Create Compelling Content: Develop technical marketing materials such as brochures, datasheets, case studies, and website content tailored for an engineering audience. Amplify our Digital Presence: Help manage our website, contribute to social media channels like LinkedIn, and support email marketing campaigns. Represent Sinoptics: Showcase our products and network with potential clients at industry trade shows, conferences, and webinars. What You\'ll Bring Education: A Bachelor\'s degree or Diploma in a technical field such as Physics, Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering is essential. Experience: A minimum of 3‐5 years in B2B technical sales or business development, preferably within the electro-optics, photonics, semiconductor, or scientific instrumentation industry. Technical Acumen: A strong foundational understanding of electro‐optic components and their applications. Proven B2B Success: Demonstrated enthusiasm and success in building high‐quality client relationships, from initial outreach to securing repeat business. Exceptional Communication: Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Ambition & Drive: A self‐motivated, results‐oriented mindset with the ability to work autonomously and manage your time effectively. Mobility: Willingness to travel locally and occasionally regionally for client meetings and industry events.
