Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality content to support marketing, admissions, and communication objectives. This includes writing for multiple platforms such as websites, blogs, newsletters, social media, and marketing collateral.

  • Content Creation: Develop compelling, original content that reflects the brand voice and positioning.
  • Writing and Editing: Write and edit website content, optimised landing page copy, ad copies for Google Ads, and other performance marketing channels, social media posts, long-form and short-form articles, blogs, and press releases, email newsletters, and event-related materials.
  • Liaising with Affiliates: Liaise with affiliates to create customised content supporting joint marketing and promotional efforts.
  • Event-Related Content: Create event-related content including invitations, event pages, presentations, and post-event summaries.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with academics and sales teams to ensure content aligns with school programmes, student achievements, and enrolment goals.
  • SEO Optimisation: Ensure all content is SEO-optimised and aligned with digital marketing strategies.
  • Proofreading and Editing: Proofread and edit content for accuracy, grammar, and consistency.
  • Research: Research education sector trends and competitor positioning to develop relevant content ideas.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience: 4-8 years of professional writing experience preferably in education or related sectors.
  • Skills: Strong command of English with excellent grammar and editing skills, familiarity with SEO and digital content best practices, skilled in producing both long-form and short-form content tailored to different platforms, experience in writing ad copies for Google Ads and other performance marketing channels, ability to create and manage social media posts for both organic and paid campaigns, hands-on experience with WordPress and other CMS platforms for updating website content, ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple projects.
