Job Title: Cloud Engineering Expert

Are you a skilled IT professional with experience in cloud computing, DevOps, and systems administration? We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Cloud Engineering Expert to join our team.

As a Cloud Engineering Expert, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure using Terraform. You will work closely with our application teams, cloud teams, and vendors to ensure seamless migration and implementation of applications in GCC. Your expertise will also be required to support common services managed by the Application and Architecture Engineering Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud computing solutions using AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms.
  • Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools.
  • Automate build, software release, application deployment, and system management tasks using scripts.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve engineering tools, systems, and procedures.
  • Conduct automated system-level vulnerability security scans and harden systems and application platforms.
  • Liaise with 3rd party software and cloud vendors to manage and resolve incidents and technical issues.
  • Maintain technical documentation and knowledge bases.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in Linux/Windows Systems Administration.
  • Knowledge in configuring DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Sonarqube, Nexus, and Nexus IQ.
  • Experience in container platforms like Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift, and Quay.
  • Knowledge in AWS Cloud services configuration, including EC2, Network Load Balancer, Application Load Balancer, Web Application Firewall, Security Group, RDS, S3, and Lambda.
  • Past track records in virtualisation/container technology and setting up CI/CD processes and tools.
  • Knowledge in application development and middleware setup.
  • Understanding of networking protocols and services, such as SFTP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, routing.
  • Knowledge in database setup and maintenance.
