Work Location: Choa Chu Kang Job Purpose: You shall be responsible for family/individual counselling, group work, assessment and recommendations for financial assistance and case management. Conduct casework and manage case consultations.Key Responsibilities: Perform casework, delivery intervention and care plan Develop and facilitate group work Engage and work with the community agencies Conduct family interview and financial assessment Manage crisis and ensure client safe organisation Conduct training to staff and stakeholders Participate in professional courses to acquire specialised knowledge and skills Perform administrative duties Job Requirements: Degree and/ or Post Graduate Diploma in Social Work or equivalent from recognised universities. Must be registered with Singapore Association of Social Worker (SASW) Accreditation Board. Possess minimum 2 years of relevant work experience. Possess experience working with persons with mild intellectual disabilities (MID). Patient, team player and able to co-create new content tailored for students/trainees with MID. Passionate, well organised, able to independently. Able to communicate with students, trainees, caregivers and associates of different culture/ backgrounds, preferably conversant in major local dialects (in order to provide consultation to local dialects speaking teachers, parents and students.)
