Micron, a global leader in memory and storage solutions, is seeking a dedicated TEM Engineer to join our Singapore site's Technology Development (TD) team. The role involves performing high‐quality TEM analysis, developing advanced characterization methods, and collaborating with cross‐functional teams to support next‐generation memory technologies. Key Responsibilities Perform high‐quality TEM analysis, including microstructure and chemical characterization using electron diffraction, EDS, and EELS. Innovate and implement technical solutions for atomic‐scale device characterization, driving faster learning cycles in semiconductor processes. Develop and apply advanced TEM techniques to address complex process challenges and support critical technology development projects. Collaborate with multi‐functional teams to correlate atomic‐scale structural and chemical data with processing, physical modeling, and device performance. Build and optimize Digital Micrograph (DM) scripts to improve data collection and processing efficiency. Lead technology roadmap initiatives in collaboration with instrument vendors, industry partners, and internal teams. Continuously improve lab procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. Facilitate smooth shift transitions by providing detailed pass‐down to team members. Qualifications PhD or equivalent experience in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field. Hands‐on experience with various TEM tools, including Nion, TFS, and JEOL. Expertise in STEM imaging and reconstruction, EDS qualitative and quantitative analysis, and qualitative EELS analysis. Extensive experience in TEM materials characterization, including grain size and strain analysis based on precession electron diffraction. Proficiency in programming with DM scripts and Python. Strong problem‐solving skills with a proven track record of innovation. In‐depth background in thermodynamics, kinetics, crystallography, and diffraction. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team‐oriented mindset.
