Responsibilities

  • Oversee aviation safety of Singapore registered aircraft and air operators.
  • Develop policies and implement safety oversight frameworks aligned with international standards and Singapore's aviation requirements.
  • Conduct technical assessments, audits, and surveillances to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Investigate technical incidents and analyze safety occurrences.
  • Review aircraft maintenance programmes and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance safety standards.
  • Maintain strong technical expertise in aircraft systems and understanding of Singapore's aviation regulatory framework.

Qualifications

  • Training in relevant engineering disciplines. Holding a Part 66 Category B1/B2 licence is advantageous.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a commercial airline's quality, technical services, engineering, or maintenance control roles, preferably in supervisory or management capacities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Note: Appointment will be commensurate with experience. Successful candidates will initially receive a 3-year contract, with potential for permanent placement or renewal.
