The Mastercard Launch program is aimed at early career talent, to help you develop skills and gain cross-functional work experience. Over a period of 18 months, Launch participants will be assigned to a business unit, learn and develop skills, and gain valuable on-the-job experience.
Job Overview:
Support software engineering through programming, testing, implementation, documenting, and delivery of software solutions.
Research alternative technical solutions for changing business needs.
Major Accountabilities:
Program, test, implement, document, maintain, and support systems application software following Mastercard standards and best practices.
Develop high-quality, secure, scalable software solutions based on technical requirements within expected time and budget.
Research, create, and evaluate technical solution alternatives for business needs.
Create systems and testing documentation per standards.
Follow development and testing standards to ensure compliance with audit requirements.
Support collection and reporting of project and software metrics.
Seek opportunities to enhance standards and improve process efficiency.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge / Experience:
Basic understanding of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies; 0-12 months of experience.
Skills/Abilities:
High-energy, detail-oriented, proactive; strong communication skills; collaborative and organized; eager to learn and take on challenges.
Qualifications:
Enrolled in a bachelor’s or accelerated master’s program graduating Dec 2025 – June 2026; able to start on 6 July 2026; valid work rights in Singapore; experience in programming languages like Java, JavaScript, C#, Python; familiarity with databases, automated testing, source control, and debugging tools.
