Introduction
In this role, you will provide technical accounting guidance on complex and non-standard transactions.
Your Responsibilities
Review contracts and proposals for revenue and non-revenue transactions, providing accounting guidance.
Prepare documentation and memos supporting the company's accounting positions and addressing audit questions.
Partner with the business to ensure documentation for financial audits and internal controls is prepared and retained.
Support the monthly financial statement close process and assist the SEC reporting team with disclosures as needed.
Implement and document internal controls around financial statement close processes, such as contract reviews.
Assist with other accounting projects as required.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
Minimum 7 years of experience in public accounting or corporate finance.
Ability to apply technical accounting guidance to transaction scenarios.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and investigative skills in accounting.
Preferred Qualifications
Chartered Accountant or CPA certification (preferred).
