Vulnerability Management Specialist

You should be an experienced professional with at least 5+ years of experience, and possess expertise in performing Vulnerability assessment & Policy Compliance using leading Vulnerability Scanning solutions like Qualys. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments on On-prem, Cloud hosted systems, containers (such as Docker & Kubernetes), databases, web services, and other widely deployed infrastructure components. Additionally, you will be required to perform false positive validation and ensure the delivery of high-quality reports.As a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will analyze vulnerability results and detection logic, providing technical advice and support on remediation to infrastructure/application support teams. You will review findings, identify root causes for common issues, and offer recommendations for sustainable improvements. Moreover, you will be responsible for maintaining the quality assurance of vulnerabilities by enhancing the VM team's technical knowledge base.In this role, you will research and report on security vulnerabilities and stay updated on the latest advancements in the vulnerability management lifecycle. It is essential to have a strong understanding of security policies, procedures, and guidelines at all levels of management and staff. Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing, are crucial as you establish cooperative working relationships and provide suggestions to enhance the Vulnerability Management service based on current trends in information technology (Network, system security software, and hardware). In the absence of the team lead, you may be required to act as a line manager.,
