Senior Solutions Architect

This role is posted on behalf of Resaro, a startup supported by SGInnovate. Background We are looking for a seasoned AI Solutions Engineer/Architect to be based in Singapore, with deep roots and experience in the defense and law enforcement sector. Together with a category-defining AI assurance venture team and internal senior stakeholders, you will help organizations to solve safety and security challenges faced in deploying and operating solutions (in particular AI based) in highly sensitive and mission critical areas. What you'll do Shape the development of Resaro’s solutions in the defense, military and law enforcement sector by leading from the top. Work closely with our customers, federal agencies and partners to understand their needs and translate this into a project plan, ensuring explainability, safety and feasibility are incorporated effectively into the program. Engage with multiple internal and external teams to prioritise deliverables and to apply product safety and security requirements successfully and in time. Mitigate and control project and financial risks in a timely and sensitive manner. Determine headcount and skill matrix for specific and general program execution tasks and support recruitment activities. Create and apply the business development and relationship strategy for the defense, military and law enforcement sector. What we are looking for Proven track record as a solutions architect in the defense, military, law enforcement sector or related professional service industries or a relevant postgraduate degree with at least 4 years of working experience. Experience in managing interdisciplinary teams within organizational wide digital transformations programs. Proven ability in the management of complex and large scale defence and security programs, including planning, execution, and monitoring. Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in responsible and robust application of AI solutions, including the ability to test product features if needed. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing AI development and deployment in defence, such as international humanitarian law and human rights law. Building strong relationships with key stakeholders and influencing decision-making. Understanding of international security dynamics and the role of AI in geopolitical contexts. A passion and interest in applied research on the safe and responsible use of AI Strong problem solving skills and effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including military personnel, policymakers, and industry partners. Navigate uncertainty by being willing to explore, while remaining laser focused on the mission at hand. Understand and navigate processes for on-prem and cloud based product development in highly sensitive industries such as security. Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
