Overview The Regional Procurement Director (Europe / Singapore / Americas) is responsible for all Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Development, Supplier Contract Governance, and Indirect spending activities that occur in the Region. The primary objective of this position is to source, negotiate and manage suppliers in these regions, in a way that minimizes the Company’s overall costs. This position ensures alignment with all global material sourcing and procurement strategies to effectively meet Bio‑Rad’s operational needs. This position leads a team of procurement and purchasing professionals, responsible for indirect materials and services, including but not limited to, IT, Facilities, building and construction services, printing, janitorial services, Cap Ex equipment and direct materials (inventory items) in support of manufacturing sites in the region. Works in Partnership with Global Commodity Management on sourcing strategies for materials in support of manufacturing and OEM / Resale finished products in support of demand. Responsible for supplier development and supplier quality within the region in accordance with global policies and procedures. How You’ll Make an Impact : Develop and execute global sourcing programs and strategies within the Region Directly coordinate these strategies through the regional and global teams, where appropriate Responsible for planning, developing and buying materials, parts, supplies, services and equipment in a timely and cost effective way, while maintaining appropriate quality standards and specifications Ensure supplier compliance with site and company‑wide requirements through appropriate use and application of commodity strategies, procurement processes, supplier relations and metrics including quality provider services, delivered to plan, at the right price. Ensure suppliers meet applicable regulatory requirements. Collaborate and align with all internal and external business partners to meet all business objectives and goals Identify and drive supply chain productivity initiatives across all respective business segments Work with third party sourcing providers to utilize formal sourcing methodologies to consolidate suppliers, establish preferred relationships and leveraged supply arrangements within respective region Collaborate with Accounts Payable Department to ensure accurate and timely
