The Singapore graduate programme is a one-year development opportunity in our Market Strategies area. The programme is designed to provide you with exposure to both trading and portfolio management, with the potential to rotate between our equity enhanced indexing and fixed income trading departments.

Duties And Responsibilities
As a graduate, you'll work on real projects with genuine impact from day one. Whether you're analysing market trends and companies, building predictive models, or developing new technological solutions, your contributions will directly influence decisions affecting billions in assets.
As part of the programme, you will receive comprehensive training and development, a 'buddy' to support you in your role and the opportunity to be included in our mentorship programme. We foster a culture where learning is continuous, and excellence is the standard.
Qualifications
We seek candidates who combine solid technical capabilities with analytical thinking and a collaborative approach to tackling complex challenges and who:
have strong analytical and quantitative skills, coding and AI literacy are appreciated
think independently and thrive when there's no playbook
are a problem solvers and can think outside the box
use AI as co-pilot, not on autopilot, to sharpen analysis and inform decisions
are eager for responsibility and enjoy taking risks
zoom in on the details and zoom out for the big picture—and know which moment calls for which lens
are inspired by NBIM’s mission, and see how you can help shape that future
have strong communication skills in English
recent Masters/MBA or Bachelor graduates in any discipline with less than two years of work experience by the start of the programme

Fixed Income Trading executes the fund's market implementation strategies and collaborates within investment teams alongside portfolio managers to generate excess return in fixed income securities and foreign exchange instruments across developed and emerging market economies.
Equity Enhanced Indexing manages the fund's global equity portfolios using diverse enhancement strategies, risk management, and data analytics to outperform benchmarks while maintaining market exposure.
