Transportation Professional

We are seeking a skilled transportation professional to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to designated locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safe Vehicle Operation:
    • Operate trailers trucks to transport goods and materials to designated locations while adhering to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Vehicle Maintenance and Inspection:
    • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, checking for any mechanical issues or damages.
  • Route Planning and Communication:
    • Plan routes using GPS or maps to determine the most efficient and timely delivery routes.
    • Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse personnel to coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules.
  • Record Keeping and Compliance:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery details, adhering to company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Licenses and Certifications:
    • A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and any additional certifications required by law or regulation.
  • Skills and Experience:
    • At least 2 years of experience as a transportation professional, preferably in a similar role.
    • Familiarity with route planning software and communication systems.
