Overview Business Process Manager (Supply Chain) role at Yinson. This is a permanent role reporting to the VP, Project Supply Chain and involved in a number of supply chain project activities. The position will own, facilitate and execute the Vendor Qualification (VQ) and Vendor Performance Evaluation (VPE) processes as a main activity. It also covers several other business applications, systems and processes within the Supply Chain Project team, focusing on supporting, improving and simplifying how we use available systems and tools in the Supply Chain IT ecosystem. The role may include increasing the usage of AI as an example. The individual should be flexible and resilient to be successful in the role. The holder has the necessary authorities to carry out the responsibilities stated, within the Company Limit of Authority. Functional Responsibilities Take ownership of and continue to improve the Vendor Qualification and Vendor Performance Evaluation processes Suggest and implement changes to improve the quality of the VQ/VPE system and the turnaround time from request to approval Collaborate with our software provider (Avetta) to optimize system usage and reduce VQ/VPE costs Own the daily VQ/VPE execution for all new vendor qualifications and VPEs Evaluate the Procure to Pay process in cooperation with Finance and other stakeholders; suggest improvements and help implement changes Ensure that Corporate spend processes are defined with Finance and assist in implementing new systems and processes where appropriate Own the execution of Corporate purchase orders Continuously evaluate supply chain software and tools to further optimize efficiency and quality (including VQ/VPE, sourcing, contract management, ESG, Supplier Relationship Management, and the core EDI system – IFS)Advise and support in developing reporting tools including spend overview and Power BI Assist in understanding, driving, developing and improving Yinson Production's ESG targets, how they are measured and how new ideas are implemented Support the VP Supply Chain Project with strategy development and overall efficiency and value creation within the SC function, including various administrative tasks Carry out additional responsibilities as required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (or equivalent relevant experience)Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar and relevant position Experience in the Oil & Gas or shipping industry is a preference but not required Experience with various ERP systems; IFS experience is preferred Knowledge In-depth knowledge of supply chain, procurement and contracting functions and how larger organizations work A good understanding of project management Background in IT and ability to work with different software tools Hands-on experience with Vendor Qualification If you want to team up with us as we dream and stride towards a better tomorrow – we would love to hear from youSeniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Management and Manufacturing Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Yinson by 2x.
