Roles & Responsibilities Permanent Position Central Location Commercial Development Project Our M&E engineering client, known for delivering projects across commercial and industrial sectors, is seeking an Electrical Manager / Assistant Manager to join their team. RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead, plan, and manage electrical works for commercial construction projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, authority requirements, and safety standards. Develop and execute project plans covering schedule management, quality assurance, safety controls, budget tracking, and risk mitigation. Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery of project milestones. Review and interpret contract requirements, technical specifications, shop drawings, and method statements to ensure accurate implementation on site. Monitor site activities, resolve technical or coordination issues proactively, and ensure works are carried out according to approved methods. Manage variation orders and conduct negotiations with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors where required. Drive continuous improvement in construction methods to enhance productivity and reduce costs while maintaining high safety and quality standards. Lead and mentor site supervisors and junior engineers, ensuring strong communication, teamwork, and adherence to project expectations. REQUIREMENTS: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering Approximately 5 to 10 years of relevant managerial experience in construction projects Solid understanding of Codes of Practice, ISO 9000 and OHSAS 18000 standards BCSS certification is required Meticulous, responsible and proactive, with strong communication and coordination skills Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams and ensuring successful project delivery HOW TO APPLY: If you are a team player, meticulous & organized, and more importantly, believe that YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE, we would like to hear from you.
